The WPtool is a bash program that I maintain and update, which is used to diagnose, fix, and manage Wordpress installations from the command line. It also has the capability to log the user into the Wordpress Dashboard, can search for malware, and needs no installation: a single command loads it into the shell. And unlike many such tools it doesn’t load Wordpress so it can work on even the most broken of sites.

This runs a lots of fixes on it.

And this will provide a randomly generated link that, when clicked, logs the user into the Admin Dashboard.

For security, the above login link:

• can only be used once regardless of error or whatever (it sets itself to be deleted when it starts),
• requires the right code as an argument (?z=code),
• and if the user cancels the prompt via Ctrl+C or waits longer than 60 seconds, WPTool will remove the link.
